Ramón Allones 898 2014 Alemania

The Ramon Allones 8-9-8 Cigar is a regional edition cigar, released exclusively for Germany in 2014.

Firstly, this Cuban cigar was actually inspired by the discontinued Ramon Allones 8-9-8 Cigar that was in regular production until 2002. Ramón Allones 8-9-8 for Sale

Secondly, as for the 8-9-8, it’s a beautiful-looking cigar and the red of the Edición Regional band really does well to contrast the wrapper.

However, I pick up some mild nuttiness, creaminess, barnyard, and a generic sweetness from the wrapper.

Further, the foot is sweeter, reminding me of a candy aisle with bubble gum,

citrus, and a sweet lemon cake flavor.

Generally, the cold draw is oddly salty with some sweet fruits adding a nice contrast. Ramón Allones 8-9-8 2014

While one sample starts a bit tight, it tastes good.

There’s a flavor that reminds me of a bag of salted and buttered unpopped popcorn,

sunflower seeds, and some raspberry jam underneath. Ramón Allones 898 2014 Alemania

It measures 140mm by a 43-ring gauge – forming the Dalia vitola. A format that is appreciated by aficionados all over the world.
