La Escepción is a historic Cuban cigar brand that was established in the 1850s by José Gener, who also founded Hoyo de Monterrey. The brand was known for its very full strength cigars, but was discontinued in 1989. In 2011, it was revived for a limited edition release for the Italian market. La Escepción cigars are made with premium tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region and are handcrafted at the La Corona factory.
