The Trinidad Esmeralda is the latest cigar made to honour the 50th Anniversary of the Trinidad brand.

Firstly it joins two other cigars born to celebrate the occasion

– the Trinidad Media Luna and the Trinidad Topes.
Secondly it presents itself within the new Dinoras vitola, a Robusto that measures at 145 mm by an impressive 54 ring gauge.

With true Trinidad Cigars fashion, the cigar is  the distinctive ‘pigtail’ at the top,

making it an incredibly unique Cuban cigar to have in your collection.
Further the Esmeralda is completely handmade with the finest long filler source from the acclaim Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.

The Esmeralda was the last to arrive, hitting Swiss retailers in December 2019.

Likewise it’s notable for not only being a fairly thick cigar, but also for offering a new vitola to the Habanos S.A. portfolio,

one known as the Dinoras.

Consequently the same was true for the other two cigars, as the Media Luna comes in a vitola called the Marinas,

while the Topes uses that name for the vitola as well. It is also worth noting that the Topes is a previously display Edición Limiitada release from 2016.
