Hoyo de Monterrey San Juan Tauromaquia y Manolette is a limited-edition cigar
that celebrates the legacy of one of the most famous Spanish bullfighters
Manuel Laureano Rodríguez Sánchez, also known as Manolete.
He was born in Córdoba, Spain, in 1917,
and became a professional bullfighter at age 17.
They considered him a national hero and a cultural icon in Spain,
where he fought in all the significant bullrings and inspired songs, dolls, and liqueurs.
Hoyo de Monterrey San Juan Tauromaquia is a medium-bodied smoke
with a ring gauge of 54 and a length of 150mm.
Hoyo de Monterrey San Juan Tauromaquia is made
with aged Cuban tobacco from Hoyo de Monterrey,
one of the oldest and most prestigious brands in the world.
The brand was founded in 1865 by José Gener y Batet,
a Catalan immigrant who settled in Havana.
The name Hoyo de Monterrey means “the hole of Monterrey”,
referring to the open terrain of the plantation where the tobacco was grown.
The brand is known for its smooth and complex flavor,
its elegant presentation, and its quality and consistency.
The box of 10 cigars features a colorful sketch of Manolete
in his iconic suit of lights, facing a fierce bull.
The Hoyo de Monterrey San Juan Tauromaquia is numbered and
has a commemorative band that reads “Tauromaquia y Manolete”.
Only 1,000 boxes have been produced for the Spanish market,
making this a rare and collectible item for cigar enthusiasts
and fans of tauromaquia, the art of bullfighting.
